Me and my partner went to the Woodland Alphabet workshop this week and it's been absolutely wonderful. It was at a lovely location with a very relaxing atmosphere. We were taught all the basics before were able to start working on our own little letter.
I loved how gentle Catherine explained everything and can only recommend it. I am an absolute beginner when it comes to stitching, but at no point did I feel overwhelmed or unsure about what to do. Quite the opposite! She encourages exploration and doing whatever feels right for you, which I very much enjoyed.
We'll be looking at joining the other workshops, too!

I did this class with some of my friends as a total beginner who's never embroidered before. Catherine is a really amazing teacher - she's so patient and calm when explaining how to do things and she's extremely skilled so even if i made mistakes she was able to rectify them for me or show me how to fix it!

I love her approach of not trying to achieve perfection and just doing your best - "the imperfections are what make it yours". Will be booking more in future.

I am delighted with my scissors; I've got a bit of a thing about dragonflies at the moment and these are so unusual and pretty. The packaging and cards are such a thoughtful and personal touch too.
I would love a kit to embroider a dragonfly if you ever feel moved to create one :-)

I was delighted to receive a pair of Antique Silver Embroidery Scissors accompanied by a little freebie thread organiser as a gift at Christmas. I like the way things are presented with simple but attractive environmentally friendly packaging.
